August 2008 - Sullivan Tire Co., Inc. has joined the ACTN effective immediately. Sullivan has 16 Commercial Truck Centers and 47 Consumer Stores in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and Rhode Island.
May 2008 - Manufacturing Representatives from ACTN® member companies met in early May in St. Louis for their semi-annual conference where they shared information on retread processes, product quality, productivity, vendors, services, pricing, equipment, and training. Minutes of this meeting will be posted as soon as they become available.
April 2008 - CFO/Financial Representatives from ACTN® member companies met April 23-25 in Orlando to share information and experience in matters relating to wholesale purchasing, accounts payable efficiency, OPEN ROAD, T-Chek fuel programs, compensation, inventory, and e-mail. Minutes of that meeting will be available to ACTN members soom on the MEMOS link.
Their next meeting is set for October 22-24, 2008 in Denver, CO. Details will be sent to council members once accomodations and meeting arrangements have been arranged.
October 2007 - Safety and Loss council members will meet in Overland Park, Kansas in conjunction with the Zurich Risk Management Conference the week of October 13 - 15. Minutes of past meetings are available to ACTN members under the MEMOS section upon login.
September 2007 - Vehicle Services representatives from ACTN® member companies have formed a subgroup and met September 12-13, 2007 in Cincinnati to organize, set goals, and make plans for what direction to take as a group. Bob Sumerel Tire Company hosted this initial meeting in their Sharonville, Cincinnati facility. Minutes from this group's meeting will be posted in the MEMOS section and available to ACTN members upon login.
